Toilet seat comes up short My "yes" answer to recommending it to a friend is only because there is no other choice at the moment for the Kohler toilet I have. The original toilet seat has been discontinued and this one is the current replacement. It is slightly too short for the toilet bowl shape. November 7, 2010
Kohler K-4662 - Toilet Seats Faucet Direct's product shipped 2 days earlier than originally scheduled. Items arrived intact without any damage or missing parts. Great service and overall a very simple and easy shopping experience. Sit On This! Ten years ago we remodeled our guest bathroom and let our very young daughters pick out the theme of the bathroom. They chose Ariel the Little Mermaid. The entire bathroom and shower were decorated in that theme, including a cheap cushioned toilet seat with ocean life featured on the cover. My daughters loved that seat; my wife and I bit our lips. Last month we redid our bathroom and brought it into the new millennium. I didn't want to buy another cheap toilet seat from the "Big Box" stores so I talked my wife into spending a little extra money and bought this Kohler model. My wife and daughters are so glad I spent the extra amount on this seat. They love it. All of our guests think we purchased an entire new toilet--which we didn't--when they see the new seat. Very classy. Great purchase. I will definitely install an identical seat when I redo our Master Bathroom. October 21, 2010

Nice and sturdy I had purchased a similar seat at Home Depot and there is no comparison. The Home Depot Kohler seat looks similar but this one does not wobble and creek and it feels very sturdy. Everyone in the family loves it. March 9, 2009
I cannot believe that I am writing a review of a toilet seat! What I am pleased with however is that I needed three replacement seats for Kohler toilets in my home. I got the replacement catalog numbers from the Kohler website. Kohler wanted $75. for each seat. Faucetdirect however charged $40. for each seat and it is a genuine Kohler, not an off-brand. The seats arrived when promised and installation was quaite simple. July 29, 2008

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty

Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.

Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.

In no event shall the responsibility of Kohler exceed the purchase price of the faucet.
