flexible hose is a chrome paint over a copper color. I called kohler as the chrome paint was peeeling off and a replacement was sent. The hose is made by a German company, not kohler...What is obvious was Kohler's engineering built the shower to a smaller size thereby eliminating use of the Kolher shower hose..and kohler purchasing came up with this functional hose...but it is available only is chrome..which is paint. Very disappointing!
