    A. The Kohler K-3609 does not come with an insulated tank. However, I requested to have the K-3609-U added to our website which comes with an insulated tank.

  • Recommendation for cleaning toilet bowl; what products?

    A. The Kohler K-3609 is an easy toilet to clean. You can use scrubby bubbles or any other type of cleaning agent with a toilet bowl brush. Comet also works well.

  • Is there a reason to have a one piece toilet over a two piece?

    A. It really comes down to preference. A one piece toilet is heavier during install (you can't place it less tank like a 2-piece). Typically, one-piece toilets have a lower profile than two-piece toilets. A one piece versus a two piece doesn't necessarily work any better or worse than the other. Pick one with decent specs and that you like the looks of.

  • Is the toilet seat that is listed with this toilet a soft close?

    A. The Kohler K-3609 is actually sold with the seat separate so a soft closed one can be purchased alongside it. The one recommended is not a soft close but a typical Kohler, soft close seat, such as the Cachet collection, would mount to this toilet just fine.

  • Can we get this toilet with a 10 inch rough-in?

    A. The Kohler K-3609 is only available in a 12" rough in.

    A. The class 5 and the class 6 are pretty much the same thing. The class 6 are now being made as class 5.

Nicely Surprised Imagine a 1.28 gallon flush that really does the job - and looks nice too. This toilet's been installed for 2 weeks - and I am so happy that we chose this new Class 6 Cimarron. It was professionally reviewed/evaluated in September 2008 and given a MaP flushability rating of 1000 - can't beat that. December 3, 2008
