    Your service provider will:

    Unpack new toilet. Shut off the water supply to the toilet being replaced. Drain, disconnect, and remove the existing toilet. Assemble a two (2) piece toilet if necessary. Clean the surface area where the new toilet is to be installed. Provide and install new wax ring, mounting bolts. Install toilet to the original toilet location. Mount, secure, connect, and seal the new toilet. Test the toilet for leaks and ensure that is functions properly. Clean up and haul away the old toilet and any excess installation related material

    A. The Kohler K-3506 uses toilet seat model Kohler K-4733. The toilet seat is 14 3/16" wide (at the widest point) and has a height of 18 1/16" (excluding hinges). These measurements can be found under item Kohler K-4733 from the specification sheet.

  • how does the gravity flush differ from the siphon jet flush type and does this come with the cannister

    A. Siphoning flush uses a mechanism to produce a vacuum-like effect to dispel waste. Upon flushing, a high volume of water enters the bowl and gets pulled down through a standard 2-inch trapway, filling a siphon tube. When that tube is full, the vacuum-like effect is created and waste is dispersed. Siphoning stops once air hits the tube. This system works well, but requires a lot of water and is problematic when 1.6 gallons of water or less is used. The small trapway, which is needed to get that vacuum effect, clogs more frequently, requiring a second flush that wastes more water. Gravity flush opens a flush valve and releases between 1.28 and 1.6 gallons of water from the tank behind the toilet seat. As the water flows into the toilet bowl, gravity pulls the waste material down through the opening at the bottom of the bowl into the drain. A curved pipe called a trap at the base of the bowl near the floor slopes down and then upward to transport waste from the drain into the sewage system. When the bowl fills with water at the end of the cycle, it prevents noxious sewer gases from contaminating the air.

Think twice It costs more than one grand. It looks great. But it does not flush well. You need to flush twice to clean the toilet. Kohler needs to make the tank bigger, just the like the two- piece one. I bought the two-piece toilet which has a similar look too. It looks great, works really well and costs less. Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty

Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.

Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.

In no event shall the responsibility of Kohler exceed the purchase price of the faucet.
