Unpack new toilet. Shut off the water supply to the toilet being replaced. Drain, disconnect, and remove the existing toilet. Assemble a two (2) piece toilet if necessary. Clean the surface area where the new toilet is to be installed. Provide and install new wax ring, mounting bolts. Install toilet to the original toilet location. Best Toilet Ever!
I am in no way a plumber. This unit was fast and easy to install myself. Almost everything is pre-assembled for you. It was more work removing the old toilet then it was putting the new one in. You have to see it to believe how powerful this unit flushes. All the waste is removed with one flush using much less water then my old unit which took two flushes most of the time. What is the use in saving water if you still have to flush twice? Not with this unit! I love the fact that this unit is chair height, makes using this toilet that much more comfortable. Guests to my house have all commented how comfortable and powerful this unit is.
I would definitely recommend this unit for anyone looking for a new toilet and wishing to save water too.
The only thing I can say negative about this unit is, the first few times you flush it is it will startle you as to how fast and powerful this unit will flush…not a bad thing over all.

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty
Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.
Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.
Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.
