  • What does 12" rough in mean?

    A. Rough in is the measurement from the center of the drain to the wall and can be measured on an existing toilet by measuring the distance from the cetner of the mmounting bolts to the wall. Most toilets are 10", 12" or 14" and the rough in must match or the new toilet will not fit.

would not buy if I only knew I wish that I've never bought this toilet. poor flush on the sides. the water doesn't flow right down the sides to wash away toilet paper down with the flush. I called kohler support for help & was asked to try to drill out the holes that the water comes out of on the outside ring. or adjust water highth of the water level in the tank. I lived with this piece of junk for 3 years now & it's not werth it. Don't buy it. January 17, 2011
very good Received this toilet (an one other, same model) as a part of our guest bath remodel. The workmanship and finish is first rate, so is the flush. Nice and quiet. Packing for shipping was thorough, and it arrived in perfect condition. It more than met my expectations. To top it off, the pricing at Faucets.com was substantially lower than HD or Lowes July 26, 2010
Excellent toilet I was reluctant to buy a Kohler because past experience has proven to me that Toto toilets have THE best flushing action. However my wife really wanted a grey unit to go with her newly remodeled bathroom and Toto no longer offers grey, so I took a chance on the Kohler. I must say I am very impressed. Power flush Installed, and very impressive looking .Uses little water on flush. Not happy with lid. Top is 1/8 inch shorted on right side and does not line up with bowl side. This was noticed only after install. Still a very good purchase. September 9, 2009
You can not go wrong with this toilet We purchased a new home in 2000 and at that time we hand picked these cool looking "low profile, low flush" one-piece Kohler toilets. The problem we had with "low flush" is you have to flush them or plunge them multiple times. These new toilets we just purchased from Faucet Direct are also one-piece plus they are comfort height which turns out to be a plus and the performance is great. It seems to use less water when you quickly flush the toilet and if there is more material in the toilet you hold the lever down a little longer and everything seamlessly flushes away. Before we replaced all three of our toilets with this model we replaced the most commonly used toilet first with this model and we have never had a need to use the plunger. For a non-power assist toilet it seems to perform as if it were a power assist. We are in our early 40's and I am handy and it took about 2-3 hours to remove the old toilet and install this new one. September 3, 2009

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty

Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.

Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.

In no event shall the responsibility of Kohler exceed the purchase price of the faucet.
