Rite-Temp® 1/2 Inch Pressure-Balancing Valve with Screwdriver Stops

This Rite-Temp pressure-balancing valve works behind the scenes to prevent scalding and freezing for a safe, comfortable water supply. The valve features a high-temperature limit stop and an optimal comfort zone, so you can set a maximum high and then find and maintain your desired water temperature. Additionally, the unit has a diaphragm design that virtually eliminates freeze-ups from contamination and water debris. Universal NPT and direct sweat connections need no additional parts for installation, and screwdriver stops allow you to turn off the water supply at the valve.

  • Back-to-back installation is ideal for unique or high-volume jobs
  • Large internal ports allow quick bath filling

    A. Yes, the Kohler K-304-KS is the proper rough in valve for your K-T14422-4 trim. The rough in does have valves for a bathtub spout, and the shower head. They can be capped if you do not need them.

    A. The Kohler K-304-KS does have the same flow rate as the K-304-K, the only difference is that the K-304-KS has screw stops which alow you to cut the water flow off at the vlave.

  • If I am installing the Kohler K-T10581 shower/tub trim as well as the Kohler K-17493 handshower withKohler K-T10595 as the transfer, will this valve work for all three (shower, tub, handshower) or do I need another component? Thanks.

    A. The Kohler K-304-KS will work in conjunction with the K-T10581-4, but you will need the K-728-K valve to work with your K-T10595-4 diverter trim, along with the remaining components for your handshower.

Use Kohler for valves Our contractor was impressed with the build and ease of install and use with this valve. We used this valve to control our main shower head, along with a K-9530 to divert to our hand shower when we want to use that one. Only use one or the other with the set-up I used. Works great! Works Great we love the fact that this valve has the stops built in. which means no pass through door on the other side of our shower. we had a plumber install the unit but we were able to adjust the temperature control fairly easily before installing the handle. we love kohler and have used it for almost all the new fixtures in our remodeled bathroom. and thanks FaucetDirect! we got our product pronto and it was exactly what we needed at a great price. Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty

Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.

Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.
