Fit it great
It seemed like a mess of plumbing parts to me but our plumber had no problems installing it all with the Roman tub oil rubbed bronze faucet and it works great and the faucet is simply gorgeous. Seemed like nice heavy duty parts to me.

Had to let my plumber figure this mess out but he got it in and works great.

Kohler Faucets
I ordered two Kohler Devonshire sink faucets and the Devonshire whirlpool tub faucet, as well as the Kohler Valve for the whirlpool tub faucet. I did have a problem with a damaged base on the tub faucet but I have to say that Faucet Direct's customer service was excellent. They immediately offered to rectify the problem and get me a new base.
As for the Kohler faucets...what could you ever say bad about Kohler? They are quality through and through. I am just thrilled with them!

Poor design
Too long; poor for a wall mount which I needed. The wall mount valve was too short. There don't seem to be any options to replace old wall mount valves.

Very Satisfied!
Our plumber had no problem with this rough-in set. I was concerned about compatibillity with our 23-year old plumbing, but it went into place with no problems at all. Great service and very fast shipping!

Required parts
Ordered this with faucet. Necessary part needed to install. Everything worked out perfectly.

skeptical
One plumber told me the valves were old and used, and another plumber said they were only tarnished.
The threads were okay, so I went ahead and used them.

instructions could be better
Installed this on a finished deck. Instructions call for 2 3/8 copper pipe for central faucet tube which forces the hot and cold water valves to be so low above the deck that the Devonshire handles barely engaged the valve. Would suggest using 2 1/4 or less for that piece of copper pipe. Otherwise solid components that seem to be of good quality.

Outstanding Product
This Kohler valve is well designed and installed easily. Its all brass and should last forever. Installation instructions were easy to understand.

this tub valve works great. Water supply is forceful yet contained and perfectly aerated. Tub fills quickly and quietly. What more can I say?
