Is this the proper and only valve option for K-T16175-4A?
A. The Kohler K-2972-KS is for 1/2" piping which is more commonly found in remodel situations or in system that do not require as much waterflow. For multi outlet systems where your plumber is using 3/4" plumbing you would use the K-2975-KS.

what is the difference between this and the K-679-KS which you dont seem to carry anymore?

Which valve goes with the K-2972-KS - the K-T16175-4A or the K-679-KS-NA - I WILL be using the K-681-K to control volume.
