What does exterior deminsions mean when referring to the size of the sink.

Nice shape & depth
The unique shape to the sink makes is stand apart from the countless oval sinks you typically see. Love how deep it is...now I don't get too much splashing back up onto the counter as I did with my shallow cultured marble sinks. Only tiny detail I did not expect is the curvature of the sink where it meets the counter. The fit is not as snug as I'd like it but it still works as long as the silicon caulking is done well by installer. (Most sinks are straight on with the counter.)

Caution Before Ordering
If you are thinking of ordering this sink, please be aware that it weighs 46 pounds. After ordering, I found out from my countertop fabricator that they would have to mount the sink on site (not at their shop as they usually do with porcelain sinks). In addition, you will have to have extra support built into your vanity to support the sink. The countertop fabricators will not build the support. It is definitely a nice sink of high quality but it requires extra construction cost (not to mention losing valuable storage space under your sink).

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty
Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.
Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.
Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.
In no event shall the responsibility of Kohler exceed the purchase price of the faucet.
