  • can this item be used with a Kohler K-2357 pedestal?

    A. The Kohler K-2356-8 is a self rimming sink designed to be used on a counter top and does not have support/base to be attached to a pedestal. The Kohler K-2358 would be the best sink (in the Archer style) for a pedestal installation.

  • Can it be purchased in a 19" to 21"?

    A. Unfortunately, the Kohler K-2356-8 is only available as a 22.5 by 19.5 sink and Kohler has not produced a smaller version.

  • To be completely clear, this sink does not inclue the faucet and handles, correct? And it will sit on top of Kohler K-2449 Archer Petite Vanity? Thanks.

    A. Correct, the K-2356-8 does not include the faucet and handles. However it is not designed to match with the K-2449 Petite Vanity, the proper sink for the K-2449, is the Kohler K-2358-1, K-2358-4, K-2358-8, with the -1,-4,-8 referring to number of faucet holes and spacing.

  • Can this be used as a counter-top sink on a 22" by 18" vanity?

    A. The Kohler K-2356-8 is slightly larger than the dimensions for your counter-top. I would not recommend using this sink.

  • does this sink need a special p-trap and can a pop-up drain be used with this sink? If so, what size of drain do you recommend?

    A. The Kohler K-2356-8 is recommended with use of the 8998 drain but is not neccessary. You can use 1 3/4" drain.

    A. The Kohler K-2356-8 is compatible with your existing countertop.

    A. The Kohler K-2356-8 in Almond would probably be the closest to American Standard's Bone finish. However, you won't get a perfect match since they are from two different manufacturers.

  • What is the difference between 8 " inch centers and 4 " inch centers?

    A. 8" centers are farther apart than 4". What that means is the distance between the center of the far faucet hole is either 8" or 4" away from the center of the furthest faucet hole across.

  • Does this sink come with only 1 hole for a single handled faucet?

    A. The Kohler K-2356-8 comes with three holes to be used with a widespread faucet. If you would like the same model in a one hole application, the model number would be K-2356-1.

  • I have a K-2356-8-0 Sink. I am having trouble finding the drain, drain stop and J pipe I need for this. Can you help???

    A. The Kohler K-2356-8 is a standard lav sink and can use the drain the typically comes with your facuet. You could also use the Kraus pu-11 if you wanted a pop up drain.

Beats Brick and Mortar I'm a contractor in south east Michigan, I checked my supply house for these sinks and they could get them but it would take 2 weeks. I love this sink! When I found this square over-counter china sink, I knew it would be perfect for our new vanity. It's simple, graceful lines and generous size and depth is exactly what I wanted. I hope this sink is around for awhile b/c if we ever remodel another bathroom, I will want to order it again. August 28, 2010
Lessor Quality I purchased this sink on the Kohler name brand reputation and am extremely disappointed. The sink is poorly finish coated in spots on front area and a small spot on top. My kitchen sink purchased a few years ago made from stainless steel material is also quite thin and lesser quality than the old Kohler unit I removed for remodel purpose. I suggest all who purchase this product examine it closely before installation and then contacting the merchant to see what type of recourse is possible. I have installed mine, spots are small and maybe not seen by others, but still there. The design is quite striking on granite but just lacking in QC. August 8, 2010

Beautiful Sink For the money, this sink can't be beat! It's a bit larger than anticipated, requiring me to extend the ABS drain pipe outward 2" for the P-trap to fit, so check your measurements twice. Beautiful, flawless, and solid construction! October 13, 2008

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty

Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.

Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.

In no event shall the responsibility of Kohler exceed the purchase price of the faucet.
