  • Does this item require a P trap to function properly? Why are they so expensive?

    A. The Kohler K-2241-8 does require a P trap to function properly. However, it does not require the specific Kohler P trap. This is a standard sized part and if you doing a remodel, most people can use their existing trap.

  • Does this sink come with three holes (8") for the faucet?

  • I like this sink, it appears I need to order an angle supply, and a P trap with this item to make it work? what is the cost of these included?

    A. Lee, This sink does require the angle supply, but the P-trap i recommended, typically your plumber or contractor can provide those for you.

  • Will this sink accomodate a faucet with a spout reach of 7.13?

    A. If the Kohler K-2241-8 had a faucet with a 7.16 inch reach, it would be very close to the front of the sink once the water is shooting out. There could be a splashing problem.

  • what is cutout size for this sink - kohler K-2241-8? what is required space from backsplash to cutout.

    A. The Kohler K-2241-8 requires at least a 17.5" by 10.5" basin cutout, and requires at least 4" from cutout to the backsplash.

  • Will this sink fit in a 27" X 21" vanity with a granite top?

    A. The Kohler K-2241-8 is 22-3/4" x 18". This is a top set sink. Typically projects using granite will install the sink under the granite; however, the sink is small enough to sit on top your granite without hanging over.

Lavatory Sink Nice sink, however as in prior reviews is was slightly warped and does not fit flat on the granite counter top. Will require more caulk on one side. Beautiful Design This is a beautifully designed sink that has a very modern look but an art deco flavor at the same time. I was hesitant to order 3 sinks alike (almond), but I'm so happy I did. I paired them with similar square designed Delta faucets in stainless from Faucets Direct. The plumber said it was an easy install. These sinks bring an entirely new look of elegance to my bathrooms. Gorgeous sink This is a beautiful, very solid Kohler sink. The only problem with it is there is a slight bow in the front. It shouldn't be there (it should be straight as an arrow shaft, and we have the same sink next to it that is straight) but it's so slight only we could tell it is there. I asked FD to check for that before shipping but they didn't and this was the second sink that came from the company like this. At least we were quickly and easily credited for the first sink and it wasn't worth hassling again just to have the same issue for a third time. July 26, 2008

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty

Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.

Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.

In no event shall the responsibility of Kohler exceed the purchase price of the faucet.
