what is the advantage of a glazed underside and why is there no overflow?
A. The glazed underside is for decorative purposes. The bottom part of the sink will be the same as the top, in case it visible. The reason it has no overflow is simply because some people do not want overflows for whatever reason so Kohler makes sinks for all preferences

Since this sink does not have an overflow, does it require a special drain assembly?
