How do I know if I need a P trap?
A. A P-Trap is used to connect your sink drain to your plumbing in your house. If you are replacing a faucet, you may already have a P-Trap, if you are starting from scratch it would be a good idea to purchase one. Try checking the plumbing to your sink. They call it a P-Trap because of the shape, so its going to look like a P rotated 90 degrees. If you have one there, you wont need to purchase one.

When it says 15" is that the interior width measurement at the rim ?
A. This is meant to define the interior measurement as that is the measurement of the cutout that you would have in your countertop. The basin area(up to rim) of the K-2209 is 15"(38.1 cm) x 12"(30.5 cm) with a water depth of 4" (10.2 cm).

does the water depth mean from the overflow holes down or from the top of the bowl down? Is this sink very black? the picture looks more gray. I want it to look like K2210 model.

My counter in the guest bath is about 42" x 20". Would this sink fit better in that space than the 17" kohler sink?

we are replacing an existing sink. What is an angle supply line and why do we need it? Can it be ordered from you?
A. When you add the Kohler K-2209 to your cart, a page comes us recommending the supply lines that will work with this sink. You need to them to supply water from the outlet in your wall to the valve body in the faucet you're installing with the sink.

Purchase made easy /shop from home
I looked to find an almond colored sink locally in 2008 when we remodeled the kithchen. Could not find one in town. Use biscuit, it's close enought....Not! Discovered your website and you had over one hundred almond sinks on hand to ship. I ordered it and it was here in a couple days. This time I needed four sinks and did not shop locally and wasted my time. Went to the website and got the four sinks rolling and they were here in plenty of time. Awesome service! Thank you, Jim

Small sink
I was looking for a short (front to back of 12" or less) sink for a 21" vanity and initially, I purchased this Kohler. It's fine, but the left-to-right measurement of 15" is just TOO SMALL for an everyday, kids washing hands sink. So I sent this one back and purchased a Porcher with the 12" dimension I required, but a 17" L to R measurement, and this is much more well suited to my application.
For the price, this Kohler can't be beat....it just wasn't a good fit for my home.

Perfect Sink
This sink is the perfect size for the 24" vanity in my poweder room. It leaves ample space on the countertop to place guest towels, soap dispenser, etc., and it is very deep. It looks wonderful with my granite. Love it!

Excellent
This is a beautiful smaller sink which fit perfectly in my 1/2 bath room. I ordered a black sink. These small sinks are harder to get now so I was happy to find them here. I have bought several items from Faucets Direct and have never been disappointed. Super fasst shipping also.

hard to find
This is a very hard item to find at an affordable price. It is a small sink and in a siver or grey, it can be hard to locate and/or pricey because it is rare. I'm very happy with it. It fit and installed perfectly...

Great purchasing experience
I ordered 2 of these sinks for a 57" double vanity. I wanted smaller than the typical size sinks so we'd have a little more counter space. They are still plenty big, and they are deep.
I found the best price here on Faucet Direct but was leary since I never ordered from here before. They arrived in perfect condition 2 days after I placed the order! I was very happy with this order and will order from this site again.
