Will this tank lever fit on a Kohler Memoir toilet?
A. This trip (tank) lever is designed for use with the KOHLER Revival Series Toilets. While many trip levers may seem universal, the design of the toilet tank and the placement of the flush valve could require certain levers to be used. In this case, it appears that the trip levers arm on the K-16151-4A differs then that of the recommended K-502 and the K-9477 trip levers for the Memoirs Collection Toilets.

Can this be used on tank that has the handle on the "front," the side facing the bowl?

Great Product
I needed six of these but only bought two because of the negative reviews. I don't what kind of toilet they installed their purchase in but I just installed two into Kohler Portrait toilets and it took about 5 minutes. They look great and work perfect. I just bought four more.

Not what it should be
Based on Kohler's recommendation I purchased this as a "recommended accessory" to the portrait line of toilets. Attractive and well built, I was disappointed that the arm of the tank lever was straight and at a 90 degree angle to the handle - making it not fit into the tank of the portrait toilet (yet is was a RECOMMENDED ACCESSORY). An attempt to bend the arm to fit the tank left me with a broken arm (of the lever) - a VERY expensive useless tank lever... probably Kohler's issue BUT I am still stuck with $90 of useless toilet supplies...

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty
Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.
Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.
Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.
In no event shall the responsibility of Kohler exceed the purchase price of the faucet.
