    A. The Kohler K-15996 is just the shower head only. A generic shower arm is required and they are sold separately. Kohler recommends a number of shower arms on the next after you select "Add to Cart."

I'm pleased with this product! I'm very happy with this shower head. Installed it as is--no alterations. I've tried several "rain" heads and found them to be huge disappointments--just too soft for me. But the "Koverage" side of this shower head provides a nice full downpour effect that is big enough around to give full coverage and strong enough to get the soap out of long, thick hair. The "Komotion" setting is a mix of large droplets and very fine droplets (almost mist) that gives a softer effect than the Koverage side. The "Kotton" and "Kurrent" settings are horizontal fan sprays. One is soft & misty, the other has bigger droplets and a stronger spray effect, but certainly not a hard massage. I find it's nice for loosening up a stiff neck. Overall, this shower head provides variety, good quality, and is reasonably priced. Glad I bought it. September 27, 2011

We love it! We bought this shower head about a month ago in satin nickel. We initially installed it without modifying it. It was pretty good, had decent pressure & we like all of the settings. It was very easy to install, it looked great, & it is very easy to change faces and tilt the entire shower head. We were a little disappointed that it did not have one hard concentrated massage setting. I came home one day to find my husband had altered the flow restrictor & wow he was right. I thought I liked it before & now it is OUTSTANDING! This is the best shower head I have ever used & it has a powerful massage function now. I have previously used Kohler, Delta, Hansgrohe, Speakman, Moen & Waterpik and this is the best. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a great low flow shower to be had so I don't really count having to modify it against the Flipside. I like to save water but I'd rather have a great shower and be more water conscious in other areas. March 19, 2011
Great Shower Head We ordered this shower head about 3 weeks ago & so far we love it. The pressure & volume are better than our old Delta shower head which had the restricter taken out. We didn't modify this one. I don't really care about saving water and I was willing to do so if needed. I do care that it doesn't drain the hot water tank as fast so we can get more hot showers out of it. We love three out of the four sprays although the fourth isn't bad. One of the side ones makes a lot of wind which is cools it a little. If you turn the heat up a little, it's a really luxurious spray (my favorite). The only thing I wish it had was one really pelting massage spray, the kind you can't put your face in. The flip changes easily & I like that full face sides use all of their spray channels. The price was the best I found other than ebay & had free shipping. My order arrived in 2 days with no problems. I have ordered a kitchen faucet, three bath sinks, three bath faucets & the shower head from Faucet Direct. One of the bath sinks arrived broken & the replacement arrived 2 days later after a couple minutes on the phone at no charge with no questions asked. March 12, 2011

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty

Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.

Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.

In no event shall the responsibility of Kohler exceed the purchase price of the faucet.
