  • I like this Fairfax faucet in oil-rubbed bronze, but there don't seem to be matching accessories (towel bars, toilet paper holders) in that finish. Can you recommend something that would go with it, either a different finish or a different collection?

    A. Thank you for your question. Though many of the Fairfax accessories have not been released in the ORB finish yet, many of the accessories from the Devonshire Collection have and are of a comparable shape and style: such as the K-10555, K-10554 and the K-10551.

    A. Thank you for your question. The Kohler K-12181 is the Fairfax faucet that is included with a 6" escutcheon plate for mini-widespread, 3-hole configurations.

  • What is the difference between the 12181 and 12182?

    A. The Kohler K-12182 is for single hole installation and the K-12181 comes with an escutcheon.

    A. The Button for the Kohler K-12182 is available under either product number 1017730 or 1017731 and is available in a variety of finishes.

    A. Yes. This faucet has a pop up drain included, but if you prefer to use a push close drain you can. You would just not install the pop up drain and install the push drain instead.

    A. The Kohler K-12182 is the non escutcheon version of the Fairfax faucet. The escutcheon itself is on our site and is Kohler K-78050.

  • Hi I have the Fairfax sink faucet in my half bath and like it very much and would like to do my masterbath as well with the same. However, my shower surround has been drilled for 3 holes. Is there anyway to cover those up to give me more options? I need help on this one. Thank you.

    A. The Kohler K-12182 escutcheon plate model is 77091. Are you looking for a something similar to a escutcheon plate that will work for shower drilled holes?

    A. The Kohler K-12182 does not come with an escutcheon plate. The K-12181 does. You can take the escutcheon off if you're not using it.

I got this faucet for my new bathroom .I love it and thinks it looks great. Beside it looking great it works even better. Love this! We have been using this faucet for about a month now. It is very pretty and functions well without any problems. We bought the polished chrome and have it installed with a quartz countertop on a small 37x18 cabinet with the faucet set at about 11 o'clock instead of directly behind the sink. Kohler K-12182 (Faucet): Lavatory Single Handle We love this handle. It's sleek and very attactive. Very smooth when turning on/off. The only thing to be aware of is the placement on your sink. Once installed we noticed that the pull lever for the plug on the back was really close to the wall. It worked ok but you don't have much room to pull that lever up for the sink plug November 8, 2010
Very happy with this purchase! We've had this six months and really are enjoying it. We needed a single-handle model and so many are either very modern or very Victorian. This is a nice tradtional look that is attractive without calling attention to itself. It would look good in a large range of settings. It works very well and is easy to operate with one hand. Great service I’ve ordered this faucet on Monday night and it’s Wednesday and I have it at my hose. Course is not yet installed, but I just want to say how happy I am with the Faucet Direct service and very satisfied with the look of the faucet. Nice style, heavy duty quality. I received two of these faucets and they were both in perfect condition and well constructed. Another reviewer said they had problems with this faucet's factory assembly that showed a noticeable defect. This was not the case with mine and I would not be concerned by the other reviewer's statements. I would recommend this product. December 31, 2008
Awesome faucet This faucet is a little bigger than I expected, but in a good way - it is very heavy and solid, and feels very expensive. Even the water pressure out of it seems very high, but that may be my pipes vs. the faucet. I got the chrome one; it is beautiful, and exceeds my expectations. I also can't say enough about Faucetdirect - my order arrived in 2 days even though I expected 7-10 days. Outstanding prices, outstanding delivery. Will order from them again. November 24, 2008
k13182 it is a great faucet BUT beware that this company did NOT include the same brushed nickel finish for the drain so the faucet was correct but my plumber pointed out the SHINY drain stopper i was too tired to send it back--beware--as he said" so much for savings" November 5, 2008

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty

Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.

Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other consequential costs.
