looks nice but quality is very cheap
This lamp looks good from a distance, which is why I gave it the two stars I did. However, the lamp is poorly made. The outer black shade is held together at its seam by some kind of adhesive that is inadequate so it arrived already coming apart at the seam. The base of the lamp marks easily and had a couple small scratches on it when it arrived. Also the lamp wobbles a bit because the bottom of the base doesn't lie perfectly flat on the floor.
The lamp arrived in a box with a hole in the side. The base was taped between two pieces of styrofoam, one of which was broken, creating a huge mess of little styrofoam crumbs that I had to clean off the lamp and everything in the area where I assembled the lamp.
I would not purchase this lamp again. I'm keeping it because returning it would be a pain.
I should also note that the lamp shade is a lot lighter than it appears in the photo. It's more like a white shade with black netting around it, whereas in the picture it looks like the shade is more black.
