    A. The Jado 800/840 clicks over from spray to stream and will not need to be held down to activate.

  • To regulate hot and cold do you need to push the lever back, or only forward?

    A. The Jado 800/840 functions back and forth for hot and cold.

  • Does the handle lever move back from vertical position or only forward? I'm worried about the lever hitting the backsplash if it tilts back.

    A. The Jado 800/840 handle does rotate back from the verticle position a small ammount.

  • Does the spray have magnetic docking? Is it constructed of brass?

    A. The Jado 800/840 is made of brass but is not a magnetic dock, it's held with a polymer gasket.

  • Can this faucet or any of the other Jado faucets be used with a base plate? If so, do you have a Jado part number for the plate?

    A. The Jado 800/840 is not made to be used with an escutcheon. The mounting unit is meant to fit right onto the sink. You might be able to have a metalwork fabricate you something that will fit the sink area if you are trying to fill the remains of a widespread faucet.

  • Two questions? 1. what is height from base to where the faucet begins to curve? 2. can the handle be positioned on front of faucet?

    A. Hello, The Jado 800/840 height to where the spout begins to curve unfortunately will not be listed on Jado's dimensions but it will be about 11-12". The handle is only able to be positioned at the side of the faucet. Thanks!

DIAMOND FINISH WARRANTY: A LIFETIME FINISH WARRANTY against tarnishing is offered on all Diamond Finish products. TOPLINE FINISH WARRANTY: A FIVE-YEAR FINISH WARRANTY from date of purchase is provided to the home owner against defects in materials and workmanship on Tamarac and Phoenix Topline finish products. Due to the ever changing finish of the Patina Topline products, the finish warranty is excluded.
