    A. Yes, the voltage of the disposal is important for use with the InSinkErator STSS0, they need to be the same voltage.

  • Difference between the STSOO and the STSSO?

    A. The InSinkErator STSS0 is and the STSOO are essentially the same with one minor difference. The STSSO has one outlet plug for external uses while the STSOO has 2 outlets. These plugs are there to replace the plug the air switch takes up under your counter.

    A. The InSinkErator STSS0 does come with a satin nickel button. The video is showing the dual outlet STS00 which does not come with that finish.

i have problems with it,,, How can I fix it? I love the way it looks in my new kitchen and it does not work well! a Contractor installed it few weeks ago, and its about now 3 times that it goes in, but it does not return to its position and there is not Power to the garbage disposal unit. !The button is Push in all the way in and nothing is happening... no noise nor anything, the button is pushed in all the way! and it stay that way. I checked the breaker and is all in order.. what is wrong???? HELP September 17, 2011
Love the button! This is the first time I have used the air switch for my Insinkerator disposals. WOW! Worth every penny to not have the old wall switch. The button is practically flush mount with my granite countertops. The product comes with brushed nickel, polished crome, white and black trims to match your theme. October 8, 2010
