Examples of Clawfoot Tub Faucets & Accessories
Clawfoot tub feet are available in many styles and are usually made from cast iron to withstand the weight of a filled tub. Some feet are adjustable for ease of installation, while other tubs require specific feet for a particular tub. Styles include clawfeet (resembling a claw clutching a ball), Imperial feet, and lion-paw feet. Finishes include painted white, polished brass, polished chrome, polished nickel, satin (matte) nickel and more. Also available are pedestals (where the tub sits on a pedestal of the same color and material), and cradles (usually made from cast iron with intricate designs and integral legs/feet).
Drains and Supply LinesThere are two styles of clawfoot tub drains from which to choose: rubber stopper with chain or lift and turn. The more traditional of the two is the rubber stopper with chain, but either style will perform its intended function. All of our tub drains include the entire waste and overflow assembly. Please call our Product Specialists for the appropriate drain to fit your tub.
Supply lines are the water pipes that go from the floor rough-in to the tub faucet. They need to be chosen to fit both the proper faucet configuration and rough-in through your floor. The supply lines are finished to match the faucetry for exposed installations and come in four general styles: straight, single offset, double offset, and freestanding, you will want to match the finish of all of the faucets in your bath.
Types of Supply LinesStraight supply lines are used with deck-mounted faucets. Straight supply lines are roughed-in on the same centers as the faucet drillings on the rim of the tub, most commonly 7".
Single-offset and double-offset lines are used with regular and handshower faucets as well as most of our shower enclosures.
Freestanding supply lines are made of thicker brass to support the weight of the tub faucet and are roughed-in according to the centers of the faucet.
Single-offset lines go through the floor at 3-3/8" on center.
Double-offset lines go through the floor at 8" on center.
