Extremely Happy with Purchase!
I looked for a long time for the 'right' look a fan and finally found it on this website! The price was cheaper than I had found anywhere else for the same product also! We LOVE the 2 fans we purchased. They are just alike and beautiful! The remotes work great and My only complaint is that one of them makes a slight noise on the fastest setting. Weights came with the fan and we plan on putting those on the blades to remedy the problem. Other than that....PERFECTION!

A real hummer
This fan is pretty difficult to install. I actually bought longer screws to install the plate that holds the globe. It is a two person job to install the globe so when the bulb goes, you will need a freind. It is a rock solid fan and the 22 watt fluorescent is bright and cannot be dimmed. However, it hums. It hums at every speed in both directions. It would work well in family room or other room with ambient sound, but not in a bedroom. We were never able to find out the cause of the hum, but I suspect the electronics for the remote.

Worst Purchase Ever
7 years ago I purchased five (5) of these identical fans to complete a home remodeling project. Since then I have had to replace 4 of the 5 remote controls for complete failure. Yesterday, one of the replacement remotes took a nose dive. I love the look and function of the fan but reliability is in the toilet. I am replacing with old fashioned pull chain control and would never again purchase a Hunter product.
