You state that the 27186 control is compatible with this fan but the control installation instructions state that it is for use with incandescent lights. Which is correct?

A. The Hunter 20810 can be used with the 27186 as it does not have a dimmer control. Any control including a dimmer will not work the a non-incandescent unit unless otherwise specified.

Very quiet We are very happy with the ceiling fan purchased. It looks very nice in our new sunroom and is so quiet. You can not hear it all. This was bought on line and was received in a timely manner. I would buy another one when any of the fans need to be replaced. August 31, 2011

nice fan I purchased this fan for a guest bedroom and am very happy with the quality of the fan. I did, however, expect the fan to be white, but it is more of a winter white rather than a pure white. June 7, 2011
