    A. The Hansgrohe 28321 is plastic and most are plastic from Grohe, Hansgrohe, Kohler, Delta. If you would like a metal holder then perhaps you would like Rohl.

Made of Plastic After second replacement, we gave up. Hand unit falls and breaks from plastic mount. We recommend only metal. December 20, 2010
not a good item The item is made of plastic. The description and price would lead you to believe that it was metal. It did not seem durable and I returned it and bought a metal one. December 8, 2008
