      A. The Hansgrohe 04072 is made of ABS plastic for a few reasons. In doesnt retain heat like metal would and if dropped will not damage your bathtub or shower tile, marble, acrylic ect..

    Works Great! Nice-looking! For anyone dedicated to the "green" movement, I would recommend this as a small step for mankind. It works just like any other handshower, looks nice, and I love the non-metal hose that goes with it. Very classy and euro-looking. The only thing I might change is using a different holder since the one I have doesn't provide for angle adjustment. December 18, 2009
