don't forget the wrench!
Bought this to replace the original hose, which lasted about 8 years before it wore out. Replacement looks just like the original, so I'll be happy if we get another 8 years from it! Could've easily done the installation myself, except that it requires a special size wrench to make the final attachment. Don't know if that's a specific Grohe item or just some tool that only plumbers have, but I just called a plumber to do it because it was easier than trying to jerry-rig something to fit. Took him about 10 minutes with the right tool......

Lasts one year
Terrible quality. On my second replacement hose already. This one lasted one year. When it broke, the sharp edge punctured the inner tube and caused the hose to leak all over the floor.

Grohe parts SUPER!
This Grohe kitchen faucet head and the hose works better than the original one which broke. This hose is
strong, yet flexible. You cannot beat the price of
these name brand parts. Love this site, will tell all

Very satisfied
Their on-line exploded view assured me that I had the correct part. Deliverd with-in two business days. Everything fit. However, it's nice to know that if its in it's original packaged, it has a guarantee return policy.

perfect replacment host
This was delivered quickly and was exactly the desired item. It was far more trouble to actually replace the hose on the faucet that it was to order this item. From my point of view, the quality of this was identical to the original host. By the way, it also has the inner plastic lining hose.

Special Tool maybe required
Just like the original. Requires special wrench to remove or install. Luckily I found it in my tool box from the original install 16 years ago. Vice grips may work if you have the space.

Grohe hose replacement
The replacement hose for the Grohe LadyLux faucet is very easy to install. However, the spring that surrounds the hose is very difficult to control and keep from winding up on itself. The hose was priced very good and the delivery was on time.

missing information
I'll start from the end with my review.... My faucet is now working like new!!! The one problem I did have while installing this was with the screw on fitting which attaches the hose to the sprayer. This hose probably fits a few different faucets and I used the supplied hardware to attach the hose to my Ladylux sprayer head. When I turned on the faucet I had a BIG SURPRISE water everywhere. I removed the hose and used the screw on fitting from the old unit and everything was ok.
There should have been some literature supplied with this hose stating that, all is well now.

It works...
I replaced this hose for the first time after 5 years of use. Unfortunately, I tried to use a "knock off" brand to replace the actual Grohe product to save a few bucks. Don't do it! The "other" brand lasted about 3 days before the hose blew out again. I ended up purchasing the product from Faucet Direct. It came quickly and installed much easier than the "knock off." So far so good.

Residential Products
GROHE provides the following warranties on its products to the original purchaser, installed in a residential application. This warranty is effective for all faucets sold after January 1, 1997.
Mechanical Warranty
A Limited Lifetime Warranty is provided on all mechanical parts to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns their home.
General Finish Warranty
A 5-Year Warranty is provided on all GROHE product finishes (except the InfinityFinishTM) to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
InfinityFinishTM
A Lifetime Warranty is provided on all GROHE products with the InfinityFinish to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. At its option, GROHE will repair or replace any part or finish that proves to be defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.
To obtain warranty repair or replacement the faulty part or product is to be sent along with proof-of-purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser to:

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damage or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Unless otherwise contrary to state law governing the purchase, GROHE's liability will not exceed the contract price for the product claimed to be defective or unsuitable.
