Difference between valve types -ceramic cartridge and disc
A. Ceramic cartridge and disc are generally synonymous. Both describe a brass sealed ceramic disc cartridge and is the industry standard for quality. Some older or lower grade models will use a seat and seal system with a ball assembly and will generally require minor maintenance every five or so years. The Ceramic disc faucets are generally maintenance free.

Excellent faucet
Installation was not nearly as difficult as the previous (Moen) was to remove and install. The Grohe is classy and works great.

The Perfect Faucet
I work as a professional chef doing a lot of in home catering on Chicago's wealthy North Shore. I've seen and used many high-end faucets. When I worked with this one, I knew I had to have it - regardless of price.
Elegant, yet simple. Works perfectly and has a minimal foot print on the counter top. I could not recommend it more.

Gorgeous
The faucet is solid. I like its simplicity. It is easy to use. It has a great turning range. My only concern is the pullout is a bit stiff. This may loosen in time. Although stiff is better than too loose. It is a bit pricey but not as much as some.

Great Experience
This Grohe faucet has been really great. We used a plumber to install as we had some other issues besides a leaky faucet. The new faucet is easy to use, smooth and very nice looking on our sink. So far we really love it!

Great addition to our remodeled kitchen
Fabulous. Plumber says this was an easy install, so no complaints there!
The only thing that could have made this a better faucet would be a spray that remains on without holding the button in. Otherwise, easy operation, good water flow, and easy pulldown feature. I LOVE this Grohe. Love the design!

Functional and Aesthetic
Very convenient pull-down spray feature! I find that this feature allows quick manipulation of the water spray to get to all corners of the sink. Much more convenient than the spray handle on my previous faucet. Sleek, modern design which is easy to wipe down.

Very nIce, but not perfect
This faucet was ordered on a Canadian credit card, but shipped to a US residence with a different name than the credit card. This seemed to cause problems with the processing system. Had to call customer service several times to get shipping to go ahead. All customer reps were very helpful and apologetic for the delay.
The faucet looks great - one feature that is missing is that you cannot turn the spray feature on and leave it on - you have to be squeezing the button the whole while. Also the pressure seems significantly reduced from my old tap, but I think I will get used to it and perhaps it is a good thing in order to prevent splashing. All in all, a very good experience.

Superior product; worth the price
This faucet exceeded our expactations. The stainless steel is very attractive and the appearance lines of the faucet are great. It fit our new kitchen beautifully and functions perfectly.

Residential Products
GROHE provides the following warranties on its products to the original purchaser, installed in a residential application. This warranty is effective for all faucets sold after January 1, 1997.
Mechanical Warranty
A Limited Lifetime Warranty is provided on all mechanical parts to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns their home.
General Finish Warranty
A 5-Year Warranty is provided on all GROHE product finishes (except the InfinityFinishTM) to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
InfinityFinishTM
A Lifetime Warranty is provided on all GROHE products with the InfinityFinish to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. At its option, GROHE will repair or replace any part or finish that proves to be defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.
