disappointing
It says "chrome" in the description but when I received the product, it felt extremely light and like plastic. I have a kitchen faucet from Grohe that is definitely worth the name "Grohe"- this stuff is not!

I was very disappointed with this unit. For the price, there is entirely too much plastic.....and chrome plated plastic at that. Additionally, the spray strength is considerably less then a relatively inexpensive shower head we had in there before. And, yes, I did remove the restricter.

Grohe shower heads
A previous viewer complained about the amount of plastic in the shower head. I'm as anti-plastic as they come, but I have 3 Grohe showerheads (& am now purchasing a fourth). These are top quality, highly engineered German plastics and they are durable and work fantastically. My family is constantly adjusting them to suit their preferences and they work as well as when they were installed 11 years ago.

Too Much Plastic
I think the Hand Shower has too many components that are plastic. The pictures lead you to believe the assembly is all chrome polished brass.

Residential Products
GROHE provides the following warranties on its products to the original purchaser, installed in a residential application. This warranty is effective for all faucets sold after January 1, 1997.
Mechanical Warranty
A Limited Lifetime Warranty is provided on all mechanical parts to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns their home.
General Finish Warranty
A 5-Year Warranty is provided on all GROHE product finishes (except the InfinityFinishTM) to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
InfinityFinishTM
A Lifetime Warranty is provided on all GROHE products with the InfinityFinish to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. At its option, GROHE will repair or replace any part or finish that proves to be defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.
To obtain warranty repair or replacement the faulty part or product is to be sent along with proof-of-purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser to:

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
