  • What is the projection of the lip past the face of the door?

    A. The Emtek 2201 is a flush pull so it should not project very far. They do not give that dimension, but I couldn't imagine it projecting more than 1/16".

  • What is the dimension of the hole that must be routed in the door?

    A. The Emtek 2201 requires a hole that is 1-7/16" wide by 3-5/8" tall and by 3/8" deep.

  • Do I need to order 2 of these to have one on each side of the door or is it a set of 2? Also, do I also need to order the Emtek 2221 to have a pull on the end, and if so will it work in conjunction with these 2 pulls?

    A. The Emtek 2201 is only one side. Two would need to be ordered if you wanted one on each side. You can use a 2221 with the 2201. I hope this helps!

  • How deep is the recess?

    A. The Emtek 2201 requires a cut out depth of 13/16.

  • What is the depth of the flush pull. Q2 and Q4 show completely different depths or recesses and doesn't correlate with 3/8" and 13/16"

    A. The Emtek 2201 is 3/8" deep.

Emtek 2201 Pocket Door Lock: Flush Pull This product was anything BUT brushed stainless steel. It was a stipple painted iron, looks horrible, and is totally unusable. I am completley disappointed. June 27, 2011
Quite Attractive Heavy and attracive, nice additions to my new pocket doors. Good quality. My only reservation (and, it is a small one) is the brads that are used to attach the flush pulls; a little awkward to put them into the inside corners. But, this definitely is a high quality and very attractive product. August 2, 2010

Not what I expected There was no picture available for the door pull and handle in the finish I ordered (Satin Steel) and when they arrived the were Hammered Metal, not at all what I expected. Although I kept the items, they definitely did not meet my expectations. May 6, 2010

Emtek Limited Warranty

Emtek Products, Inc. (the “Company”) warrants to the original purchaser that, except for products with Rust, Deep Burgundy, Medium Bronze, Flat Black Patina and Silver Patina finishes, the products manufactured by it (the “Products”) are free of defects in material and workmanship, provided:

  • the Company has been notified within five years of purchase date and has been given the opportunity of inspection by return of any alleged defective Products to the Company, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, transportation prepaid, accompanied by a statement of defects and proof of purchase; and
  • the Product has not been modified, abused, misused or improperly installed, maintained and/or repaired during such period; and there is no warranty on Rust, Deep Burgundy, Medium Bronze, Flat Black Patina and Silver Patina finishes.

The Company shall, at its option, either repair or replace, free of charge, any Products or part thereof found upon the Company’s inspection, to be so defective, or at the Company’s sole discretion refund the purchase price, less a reasonable allowance for depreciation, in exchange for the Product.

The Company makes no other warranty, and all implied warranties including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of the expressed warranty period as set forth above. The Company’s maximum liability hereunder is limited to the purchase price of the product. In no event shall the Company be liable for any consequential, indirect, incidental or special damages of any nature arising from the sale or use of the product, whether in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise.
