    A. The Emtek 2105 does come with a small edge pull.

  • Is this a keyed lock?

    A. The Emtek 2105 is a privacy lock, with the ability to lock on the inside and unlock via a standard tool on the other. No key involved. The Emtek 2103 is the Keyed Entry version of this item.

  • Can you order dual finish? Such as nickel on one side, bronze on the opposite?

    A. Yes, most of our proucts are able to be split finished. However, you will need to contact our customer service team to place that type of order, as our site doesn't usually have it available as an option.

  • If I have double pocket doors (facing), what are the options for the facing door (one without the lockset)?

    A. For the door without the lockset, you will want a dummy pocket door handle. The one to match the Emtek 2105 is the Emtek 2106.

Nice pocket door hardware for the money I searched for a nice pocket door handset and this was a good middle of the road choice. I did not want the cheap ones and could not afford the high dollar ones. The fit and finish is very good and the latch mechanism movement was smooth. I cannot attest the longevity of it yet but it should be good. I am an experienced woodworker (30+ years) and if you do not have the experience or the right tools, cutting the recess for this can be a challenge. The only complaint that I have is the cheap screws supplied with this. Even with predrilling the screw holes, two of them still broke, but it seems that most screws break easily these days. Overall, I am very pleased with the handset and if I convert any more doors to pockets, I will used this set again. September 6, 2011

Emtek Limited Warranty

Emtek Products, Inc. (the “Company”) warrants to the original purchaser that, except for products with Rust, Deep Burgundy, Medium Bronze, Flat Black Patina and Silver Patina finishes, the products manufactured by it (the “Products”) are free of defects in material and workmanship, provided:

  • the Company has been notified within five years of purchase date and has been given the opportunity of inspection by return of any alleged defective Products to the Company, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, transportation prepaid, accompanied by a statement of defects and proof of purchase; and
  • the Product has not been modified, abused, misused or improperly installed, maintained and/or repaired during such period; and there is no warranty on Rust, Deep Burgundy, Medium Bronze, Flat Black Patina and Silver Patina finishes.

The Company shall, at its option, either repair or replace, free of charge, any Products or part thereof found upon the Company’s inspection, to be so defective, or at the Company’s sole discretion refund the purchase price, less a reasonable allowance for depreciation, in exchange for the Product.

The Company makes no other warranty, and all implied warranties including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of the expressed warranty period as set forth above. The Company’s maximum liability hereunder is limited to the purchase price of the product. In no event shall the Company be liable for any consequential, indirect, incidental or special damages of any nature arising from the sale or use of the product, whether in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise.

  • Some states do not allow limitations on incidental consequential damages or how long an implied warranty lasts so that the above limitations may not fully apply.
