I need a drain pipe for an old clawfoot tub. Will I have trouble connecting this to a 1/2 inch copper pipe? Can it be sweated or threaded on? Also, can the pipe be cut i.e. can I use a nut and washer to reconnect after sizing to my tub?
A. The Elizabethan Classics ECLTD03 has a 1-1/2" OD brass tubing and from what I was being told you shouldn't have a problem connecting it to a 1/2" pipe. This does come with a treaded fitting. As for the sizing I was being told that you should be able to size this drain.

Almost 4 stars...
Good unit, installed very well, but the chrome was peeled off on one of the ferrels. it can be seen too, will request a replacement.
