Good Product
These are back plates that protect the cabinet from fingernails and/ or utensils held in hand that would scrape the finish of the cabinet.
It does add thickness and the screw required to attach the handle to the cabinet needs to be longer to accomodate the thickness of th backplate.
This is a very economical, practical, beautiful product.
