How does this lock work? Where do you mount it?
A. Thank you for your question. The Deltana 6FBR is mounted on either the top or the bottom of a door. Rather than locking the door to the wall next to it, the lock secures the door to the top or bottom of the door frame. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

round vs square ends
I purchased both Deltana 6FBR and 6FBS to see what is the difference. The picture on this web site shows both with rounded corners at the ends, but one is square, which explains the R and the S in the model numbers. I have a spare set now, to use another day.
