Product Technologies:

  • In2ition 2-in-1 Hand Showers: Delta In2ition showers provide the flexibility of a hand shower without the extra upfront costs or lost ease-of-use. With a simple flip of the diverter lever, the detachable hand shower can be run separate from, or simultaneously with, the shower head. In2ition showers also offer multiple spray settings, including a pause feature which helps you conserve water.
  • Independent Volume Control: Dual-control valve trims are what separate Delta showers from the competition. The top, smaller handle controls temperature, while the bottom, larger dial controls the water volume (flow rate). The distinct advantage to this is that you can set the temperature control to a temperature you like, and then leave it, turning the shower on and off each time with the volume control. You’ll never have to fuss with the temperature again.
  • Monitor: Delta Monitor showers feature pressure balance valve cartridges, which protect against sudden temperature or pressure changes to keep the water in the shower within a safe +/- 3°F. Monitor valves also feature a high-temperature limit stop that can be adjusted to suit your shower needs.
  • MultiChoice Valve: Flexibility is the big benefit of the MultiChoice Universal Valve. Once the MultiChoice rough is installed, future shower function upgrades or style changes can easily be made without altering the plumbing behind the wall.

  • Do I need a 3/4" valve to meet the 2.5 gpm requirement at the shower head?

    A. The Delta T17294-I will produce 2.5 GPM if used with either 3/4" or a 1/2" valve. This particular trim will work with valves that are R10000 models.

  • Does this use the same type of universal rough-in valve that the showers without the Dual function Pressure Balance control do? And does this include the shower arm and flange?

    A. This trim set would work with a Delta R10000 universal valve and yes, this set would come with the shower arm and flange.

    A. The Delta T17294-I is made out of plastic on the inside and a metal coil on the outside.

  • what model rough in valve is needed? Does this include everything needed other then the valve to remodel entire shower?

    A. The Delta T17294-I will work with a r-10000 unbx a universal valve. Yes, this trim and valve is all that is needed to make the trim work in your shower. Thank you for your question.

  • How do you remove the handle to adjust the temperature control valve?

    A. Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta T17294-I control cover snaps into place. It can be carefully removed with a small flat head screwdriver to allow access to the temperature control. I hope this helps!

  • is this just the shower head (s) or does it also include the temperature valve

    A. The Delta T17294-I is just the trim pieces and you will need the valve. The R10000 is recommended

  • What is the difference between the T17249-I and the T17494-I ?

    A. The Delta T17294-I is a shower only and the T17494-I is for a tub and shower.

  • Is that value the only additional item I need for this shower faucet?

    A. The Delta T17294-I : yes the valve is required and you would need that but with that everything will go in nice and smooth. The finish is the only thing that will change the price. One valve does not have stops and one does( stops allow you to shut the water off at the shower when it needs fixing/without stops means you will have to shut the water off at the source when doing repairs.

With Delta® Faucet Company, you can be sure you're getting products of the highest quality.

All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. Delta recommends using a professional plumber for all installation and repair. Delta will replace, FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any part or finish that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.

This warranty is extensive in that it covers replacement of all defective parts and even finish, but these are the only two things that are covered.

Labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair, or replacement, as well as any other kind of loss or damage are excluded.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser must be made available to Delta for all warranty claims.

This is the exclusive warranty by delta faucet company, which does not make any other warranty of any kind, including the implied warranty of merchantability.

This warranty excludes all industrial, commercial and business usage, of faucets whose purchasers are hereby extended a five-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, with all other terms of this warranty applying except the duration of the warranty. This warranty is applicable only to Delta faucets manufactured after January 1, 1995.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Any damages to this faucet as a result of misuse, abuse, or neglect or any use of other than genuine Delta replacement parts WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. It applies only to Delta faucets installed in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.
