Product Technologies:
- Independent Volume Control: Dual-control valve trims are what separate Delta showers from the competition. The top, smaller handle controls temperature, while the bottom, larger dial controls the water volume (flow rate). The distinct advantage to this is that you can set the temperature control to a temperature you like, and then leave it, turning the shower on and off each time with the volume control. You’ll never have to fuss with the temperature again.
- Monitor: Delta Monitor showers feature pressure balance valve cartridges, which protect against sudden temperature or pressure changes to keep the water in the shower within a safe +/- 3°F. Monitor valves also feature a high-temperature limit stop that can be adjusted to suit your shower needs.
- Touch Clean: Only Delta offers showers equipped with Touch Clean soft, rubber nubbins (spray holes) that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. This is particularly helpful for areas with hard water.
- MultiChoice Valve: Flexibility is the big benefit of the MultiChoice Universal Valve. Once the MultiChoice rough is installed, future shower function upgrades or style changes can easily be made without altering the plumbing behind the wall.

A. The Delta T17278 and the Delta T-17278-H20 are essentially the same thing. Only difference is the shower heads. They are both a single function shower head but they are different shapes. Item T-17278-H20 shower head is also a water saver uses less water per minute.

Delta T17278 trim kit
I ordered two of these along with two Delta R10000-UNBX Universal T/S Valve Bodies, and installed one on each end of our shower.
These look great installed and work very well.
p.s. If more water is desired , you can remove the restrictors in the shower head inlet and control water volume via the control valve. We love our new shower

Looks great!
Matches all other bronze fixtures purchased for bath. Shower head moves up & down and side-to-side. Can preset water temp by using second handle so water goes to that temp each time shower is turned on. A bonus that was pointed out to me by the plumber.

Great Choice!
We put a shower in our basement and chose this shower. I LOVE IT! It's a no-brainer, unlike some singe-handled faucets. One lever is for the water pressure, and another is for the temp. Great for sleepy-eyed morning showers :) Couldn't be happier.
