Product Technologies:
- Monitor: Delta Monitor showers feature pressure balance valve cartridges, which protect against sudden temperature or pressure changes to keep the water in the shower within a safe +/- 3°F. Monitor valves also feature a high-temperature limit stop that can be adjusted to suit your shower needs.
- Touch Clean: Only Delta offers showers equipped with Touch Clean soft, rubber nubbins (spray holes) that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. This is particularly helpful for areas with hard water.
- MultiChoice Valve: Flexibility is the big benefit of the MultiChoice Universal Valve. Once the MultiChoice rough is installed, future shower function upgrades or style changes can easily be made without altering the plumbing behind the wall.

How do you switch from shower to tub operation?

Tub spout appear to lack a diverter. How is water diverted between shower and tub?

On the Delta website, the T14886 is shown with two diverter options. One style is a pull up tab on the tub spout, and the other is a pull down on the tub spout. I would prefer the pull tab option, but it is unclear which version is being offered here. Also, based on the previous question of how to switch from shower to tub operation, what Delta's site is saying is different. Is it a pull tab, or pull down spout?

What is the difference between the 14 and 17 in the 2 shower systems?
A. The difference between the Monitor 14 and 17 series faucets usually comes down to the parts that are inside of the faucet. The cartridges are different which is a big difference in the series and the 17 series has different options like the double handle that will control temperature separately.

Nice Modern Lines
Good looking faucet but tub spout is plastic, not uncommon with newer versions but hard to swallow for the price paid. Don't think it would take much of a thump to break it.
