    A. The Delta 59210 has a metal plated hose. The hand shower can not swivel, but the arm I believe does allow some movement. If not, I know you can adjust the location of it on the bar.

  • What is the wall supply elbow and what is it for?

    A. The Delta 59210 is a hand shower with hoes and slide bar. The supply elbow which is included is the part of the system that connects the hose to the plumbing connection at the wall. It is the solid connector seen at the upper left corner of the system.

  • Is the shower head held in place enough to use as a stand alone shower

    A. Yes, the Delta 59210 Single Function Hand Shower with Hose and Slide Bar can be used as a stationary shower. The connection to the bar allows for a varied length of height.

  • Would it be possible for me to easily replace the hose for a longer one in case I would like a longer hose? Could I just easily unscrew the handheld shower from the hose and the hose from the valve on the wall and replace it with a longer hose or is this particular handheld shower fixed to the hose or something like that?

    A. The Delta 59210 is a Single Function Hand Shower with Hose and Slide Bar from the Addison Series. You can replace the hose with a 69" hose that comes with this unit by just unscrewing it at both ends. It is a standard 1/2" connection which is universal. Unfortunately, Delta doesn't have a bigger version. Here is just the hose part number RP64157.

  • I want to replace the single function head with RP43381 in Venetian Bronze. Do you offer that?

    A. The Delta 59210 is a single function hand shower. You may want to try the 54613 from Delta. It is a three function hand shower in Venetian Bronze. We do not offer the RP43381.

  • I am interested in the Addison collection shower T17292 and want to add a hand shower but would like one with 5 settings. Can you suggest one that would be a close match? It does not have to have the bar, it can be fix mounted

    A. Unfortunately the Delta 59210 is not offered in a multi function configuration and the Delta handshowers only come in a 3 function configuration. I would recommend the 54713 handshower.

  • How long is this shower hose?

    A. The Delta 59210 includes the longest shower hose that Delta has available. It is a 69" shower hose.

  • Can I use the 59210 hand shower with the valve trim for the Windemere Monitor 14 series? Will I need the Supply Elbow or is that included? If I am building a shower from scratch, will I just need the 59210 plus the Valve Trim and the Valve or is there anything else?

    A. The Delta 59210 has a standard .5" fitting which means it can be used with any standard .5" plumbing set up, from any manufacturer. It will not work with a .75" port, but most folks don't have this anyhow. Just check to be sure that you're working with standard .5" plumbing. You will need and elbow supply, which you will want to match for the finish. The recommended elbow Delta 50560 comes up automatically once added to the cart.

  • Does this set up need additional temperature and on/off control unit?

    A. The Delta 59210 will need either a separate temperature control or some type of diverter to send the water to the handshower.

    A. The Delta 59210 either comes with flathead screws or Phillips screws.

    A. The Delta 59210 has a metal plated hose and slide bar. The mounting hardware and shower head are plastic.

    A. The Delta 59210 hand shower only is part number RP61283.

dissappointed Bought this for the complete renovation of my hall bath. When discussing the placement of the bar on the wall with contractor I tried to remove the handle from the clip and found it very difficult I decided to return it. Handle was made of plastic and afraid with struggle to get it out of the clip it may actually break. July 7, 2011
Nice Add On We added the Hand Shower to our shower remodel in lieu of body jets and we're very happy with the decision. Don't be fooled by the photos, you have to order the companion elbow separately. Also requires a diverter value. But, overall, we're pleased with the final installed appearance. April 19, 2011

Delta Warranty

With Delta® Faucet Company, you can be sure you're getting products of the highest quality.

All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. Delta recommends using a professional plumber for all installation and repair. Delta will replace, FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any part or finish that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.

This warranty is extensive in that it covers replacement of all defective parts and even finish, but these are the only two things that are covered.

Labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair, or replacement, as well as any other kind of loss or damage are excluded.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser must be made available to Delta for all warranty claims.

This is the exclusive warranty by delta faucet company, which does not make any other warranty of any kind, including the implied warranty of merchantability.

This warranty excludes all industrial, commercial and business usage, of faucets whose purchasers are hereby extended a five-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, with all other terms of this warranty applying except the duration of the warranty. This warranty is applicable only to Delta faucets manufactured after January 1, 1995.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Any damages to this faucet as a result of misuse, abuse, or neglect or any use of other than genuine Delta replacement parts WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. It applies only to Delta faucets installed in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.
