A. Not all shower hoses are made of plastic. The reason for the plastic is it serves as a scald guard as the hot water wont heat plastic the way it does metal. It also makes the hose lighter for more pleasant extended periods of use.

If you are using the handshower can the shower head be turned off and how does the unit operate at 50lbs pressure.
A. The Delta 58045 does have a Pause function and will still give you over 2 gallons per minute at 50 PSI. The diverter valve on the side of the shower head will allow you to choose between hand shower and shower, only hand shower, or only shower head.

What is the difference between the 58045 and 58065 and why the price difference?
A. The Delta 58045 is a 5-function showerhead, having Full Spray, Full Spray with Massage, Slow Massage, Fast Massage and a Pause button for the Hand Shower. While the 58065 is a 4-function showerhead having Full Spray, Full Spray with Massage, Massage Spray and a Paus button for the Hand Shower. Also, the 58045 has a larger handle by roughly 2" and more spray outlets on the showerhead and handshower portions.

I have polished brass metal hose and it doesn't get hot. I always found the plastic to stick out and jumble up versus laying flat on the wall like metal. Can you opt for metal?

I would like to use a slide bar with this item. What would I need?

Evans, for the Delta 58045 as a slide bar you would need the slide bar/wall bar, the slide mount (that holds the shower head on the slide bar), and if your slide bar doe snot already come with mounting brackets you will need those as well. What is the difference between Classic and Traditional?
A. The Delta "Classic" handshower has a more modern look, has more holes for water to spray out of. The Delta "Traditional" handshower has fewer holes for water to spray out of, and traditional styles usually have more of a rounder look to them.

Does not come with handle, valve or faceplate
The multifunction shower looks great. However, while having our shower redone, the plumber indicated that he could not find a valve for the shower. Turns out that despite limiting my search to those that include the valve, scald guard, etc, I was not prompted by the website that I would need to purchase a valve separately. This caused delay in my remodel, while trying to find a valve, handle and faceplate locally.

Excellent hand shower
I was a little skeptical of the plastic body of the hand shower when I installed it, but the functions and features more than overcome that. Everyone who has used this has loved the variable spray patterns, the shutoff feature, and the ease of use. I think as long as the handheld wand doesn't get dropped or banged against the shower tile, it should hold up well.

This is great
This is the greatest thing to come along. We have had this shower head for a coulpe of months now, and we don't know how we ever got along without it.It puts out a lot of water if you need it, the pause button comes in real handy. it has every setting you could ever want if you could try it you will buy it

Didn't meet expectations
Exactly what I wanted in looks, but hand held part functions poorly. Dribbles the water out rather than a good flow, even continues to leak and dribble after pressing button to turn off spray. I would return it but the plumber who installed it for us disposed of all packaging, instructions(?) and invoices. I will be replacing this with a different shower head.

Great replacement
The Delta 58045 (Accessory): is a replacement shower head for my bathroom. I found the installation directions easy to follow and the process simple. The shower head allows a variety uses for the average home that has a single water source in the shower and/or bathtub.The combination of the two shower heads (the large and the hand held) allows for a great spread of water. The "break away" hand held with the various spray options is a big plus. If you are looking for a change and a step up for your shower I highly recommend this product

Wonderful Shower upgrade!
This product is incredible!! We replaced our coventional showerhead for the In2ition combination hand-held and stationary showerhead as my husband had been ill and had to use a hand-held shower-head with his shower-chair. There is more than adequate hose to reach the shower-chair and the combination makes it possible to use both shower heads simultaneously ... a real plus when one wants to keep warm while using the hand-held. I love it for me too. Washing my hair is no longer a chore but a pleasure. I have a spa-experience every time I shower! The only good part of my husband's illness was that it lead us to purchase the In2ition Hand Shower Multi Function. A terrific upgrade for anyone!!

Perfect shower head
I looked high and low for this shower head in the local stores. No one had the color I needed. Was not sure what I was going to do since we recently remodeled the bathroom and all the fixtures were oil rubbed bronze. I found this website and was excited to see this shower head in the color I needed and the price was lower than want the local stores had. The ordering process was quick and easy and the product was here fast. I am very pleased with the product and will order again from this company.

Super Shower
Not only looks great, but somehow Delta has designed a shower that makes you feel like you are in a rain shower but uses less water. Having a shut off feature is great as you save water while soaping up. Detachable hand shower makes it complete !
