  • rp46827 aerator keeps clogging , is there another aerator made for this unit?

    A. Thank you for your question. The Delta 2457 only has 1 aerator recommended for that faucet. The Delta part number is RP43516. This is a lifetime warranty item, Delta will send you out free parts to fix any problems you may have.

  • dear sir/madam. if my faucet is leaking from the base of the spout, not the sprayer connection. would it be that the o-ring is defective?thank you.

    A. Leaking from the base of the spout is indicative of worn out or loose cartridge. In this particular case you may have a worn out or loose waterline connectiong in your faucet spout. I would suggest removing the spout and escutcheon plate and inspecting all connections and waterlines for corrosion or damage.

  • I recently purchased ( 2-3 weeks ) the 2457-chrome from a professional plumber and paid him to install the unit. After installation he was checking it out and when he shut it off the water continued to drain, not shut off immediately. He said that was normal due to the water still in the neck when shut off. I called him the following day to ask the question again and his reply was the same. I don't like this feature in this model as I had a similar Delta model before and it shut off immediately. It needed repair so I bought this new one based on his advice. I hope he is being truthful when saying it takes a moment to " drain out " after shutting off. I certainly don't like this feature if it's true. Thanks for responding--- I've always used Delta products!

    A. The Delta 2457 should shut off completely and immediately upon closure of the valve.

  • what should I do if I don't want to use the sprayer? I am reusing this faucet on a new counter top with 3 holes vs 4, thanks.

    A. The Delta 2457 comes with sprayer, but you don't have to use it. There's a cap to cap it off.

  • Will I be able to attach a diverter valve onto the threads that the aerator goes on? Essentially, does this faucet (Delta 2457) have 55/64-27 threads or would I need to use an adapter to produce 55/64mm male threads? Thank you

    A. The Delta 2457 needs to be used with the base plate.

  • Can I get this faucet without the side spray? My current faucet set up only has 3 holes.

    A. The Delta 2457 unfortunately is only available with the side spray. You can either not use the side spray or find a different model. I might suggest item Delta 2176LHP it is a close match.

  • Is this fauset a high volume flow or is it a water saver as I'm looking for a high flow

    A. Hello, thank you for your question. The Delta 2457 has a flow rate of 2.2 gpm and is not a water saver faucet. I hope this information has helped.

Nice for the price Our faucet suddenly stopped working (except for the sprayer) and I needed to buy a good faucet in a hurry. I wanted a Moen because of previous good experience with them, but the ones I liked in my price range were out of stock. So I ended up with this one and I've been very happy with it. It met all my requirements (goose neck, metal sprayer - not plastic, attractive and not too fussy or plain) and so far it works great. It's nice and sturdy and I think it will last nicely. With Delta® Faucet Company, you can be sure you're getting products of the highest quality.

All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. Delta recommends using a professional plumber for all installation and repair. Delta will replace, FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any part or finish that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.

This warranty is extensive in that it covers replacement of all defective parts and even finish, but these are the only two things that are covered.

Labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair, or replacement, as well as any other kind of loss or damage are excluded.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser must be made available to Delta for all warranty claims.

This is the exclusive warranty by delta faucet company, which does not make any other warranty of any kind, including the implied warranty of merchantability.

This warranty excludes all industrial, commercial and business usage, of faucets whose purchasers are hereby extended a five-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, with all other terms of this warranty applying except the duration of the warranty. This warranty is applicable only to Delta faucets manufactured after January 1, 1995.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Any damages to this faucet as a result of misuse, abuse, or neglect or any use of other than genuine Delta replacement parts WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. It applies only to Delta faucets installed in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.
