Only spout that works!
I liked the ease of install and the two ways to insall the spout. Once the copper was trimmed, the spout install was a brezze.

Serving it s purpose
I bought this only for the reason that it is the longest spout in brushed nickel that I could find. I needed that for my new tub. Design is just okay.

good in a pinch
I needed an extra-long tub spout to reach a jetted tub that really should not have had a wall-mounted faucet but didn't have enough room for a sink-type faucet. This spout replaced the 5" spout that came with the diverter, matched the style and got the water in the tub. A big plus was the fact that it has a slip fit or a solder fit. The plumber tried to sell me a spout that cost $200 so I saved money too.

This solved my big problem
I needed to replace a wall mounted whirlpool tub faucet, and hunted everywhere for an affordable solution in chrome that would be long enough to reach over the tub without splashing. Unfortunately when he tub was originally installed, not enough deck space was available for a standard deck-mounted faucet.
With the wonderful help of FaucetDirect customer service, I combined this with the Danze D500155 and solved my problem for under $150.
The spout (like many being made today) is a slip-on style, and the end result isn't as tight as the original, but it will be fine. The quality of the product is very good and it blends in beautifully with the rest of the bathroom, which is Kohler Devonshire. And yes, it is indeed 8 inches long (hard to find at this price) and fills my tub without getting any water onto the deck. Thank you, FaucetDirect and Danze!
