    A. The Danze D500458T could be used to divert the water from a shower head to a hand shower. However, you would not be able to run both at the same time.

  • Can this diverter be used to divert water to a handshower (instead of the tub)?

    A. The Danze D500458T is just the trim piece only. You would need to purchase a valve in order to make this function. If you purchase the valve (D113000BT) and the trim piece then yes you can use this to function the shower head. You can actually function the shower head and a tub spout.

  • With this trim and the accompanying valve, will the diverter function with a hand shower and shower head combined (instead of a shower head and tub spout)? thanks.

    A. The Danze D500458T has a single diverter that is primarily used for a tub spout. It will not function as a multiport diverter for multiple outlets. It is designed to shift water flow from a shower head to a tub spout.
