I have a vessel sink without an overflow. Do I use a drain assembly that has an overflow or one that does not?
A. You would use a pop up for a vessel sink WITHOUT an overflow. There are two different types. One that is simply a grid drain to insure that no one would leave the water on and flood the bathroom and the second which look like a regular pop-up that is operated by pushing the top of the overflow as a button that pushes the top up. This would be useful if you wanted the be able to hold water in the sink.
