  • How do I remove the adaptor assembly from the spout for install?

    A. You are going to need a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screws on the lock nut at the bottom of the spout. Once those are loosened, the lock nut should be able to unscrew.

  • What material is the hose to the side spray made from? And does the spout swivel?

    A. The Danze D409012 spray hose is made of braided brass. The kitchen faucet does in fact swivel.

  • Are the side sprayer parts made of plastic or metal?

    A. The Danze D455158 is made of hard plastic.

  • Is there any way I can just get the spout? It actually pitted and the bend and is leaking in several places

    A. Unfortunately we do not sell just the spout for the Danze D409012.

  • Do you fill the soap dispenser from the top of the counter or from underneath ?

    A. Yes, the soap pump for the Danze D409012 can be removed and refilled from above the counter.

  • Is the sprayer for this model D409012 made of plastic or metal? and is the hose made of braided brass or hard plastic?

  • Does this spout accept the PUR faucet mount water filters--that is a requirement for my husband

    A. There are several different types of PUR water filters. The faucet aerator of this faucet is 13/16 of an inch. That is found at the tip of the faucet, which prevents the water from flowing out in one big stream. So if you can find a PUR water filter system that will mount that, then that will work. I know they also sell adapters if needed.

Why did we wait so long? Until my wife saw the Danze D409012, she was unimpressed by one or more of the features on all the products she had seen previously. The Danze faucet had it all: design, function, finish, and price. September 3, 2010
Disappointed with Danze and Faucet Direct The Danze faucet I ordered was supposed to have a metal mesh side sprayer hose and a stainless steel sprayer. I asked Faucet Direct before I ordered to confirm that the sprayer hose was metal and I was assured it was. I would have returned it if my kitchen remodel would have allowed it. August 30, 2010
Good deal! We recently installed the faucet, sprayer, soap dispenser and so far so good. The plumber didn't complain so that means it was easy to install. We like the look. May 29, 2010
