  • Is this entire faucet made of solid brass? What kind of finish is on the brass? Does the finish wear off--how can it be maintained?

    A. All of Danze's lavatory faucets are cast brass. They use a physical bonding (PVD) process to adhere a lifetime finish to the raw brass. A very good and relatively easy cleaner for any faucet is a 50/50 white vinegar, distilled water solution with a splash of citrus juice.

I really like this faucet until it started leaking after about 6 years now I am haveing trouble trying to get it to stop. I think maybe new disc might do the trick if I new where to get them. February 10, 2011
