Low quality The handle has always felt cheap, and after one year, it has fallen off completely. The Danze faucet in the guest bath is failing too. The matching towel bars are falling off the wall because of bad design. The screw holes are so close together there is no way to stabilize them. August 8, 2011
Breaks about 3 times/year We loved the sleek look of the Sonora series, and decked out the entire house with it, from kitchen and bath faucets to toilet tank levers. Within 1.5 years, we've had to call the plumber 3 times to fix the various handles, which get loose and fall off. My son finally had to learn how to take it apart and make the adjustments to save the plumber's expense; luckily he's handy. The plastic piece for the toilet flush broke; it took Danze 6 months to send a replacement, as they were out of stock. We had to reach in the tank to flush the toilet during that half of the year. The toilet paper holder cannot be tightened enough to stay level so it droops and has to be tightened at least once/month. I will not buy Danze again. April 4, 2011
Elegant design We'd installed this design in our previous home and liked it so much we ordered two for the master bathroom in our new house. The faucet's quality is apparent from its heft, the design is sleek and modern, and the single handle adds convenience: after you find the temperature you like, you can turn the flow on and off without further adjustment.
