Plain Curbs Mop Service Basin
One piece, precast terrazzo mop service basin. The shoulders shall not be less than 6" high outside, 4" inside at lowest wall. The shoulder width shall be 2" on all sides with a 1/2" pitch toward the inside. The drain body shall be cast integral and shall provide for a caulk connection not less than 1" deep to a 3" pipe.
Terrazzo is made of marble chips cast in grey portland cement, to produce a compressive strength of not less than 3000 P.S.I. seven days after casting. The terrazzo surface is ground and polished with all air holes and/or pits grouted and the excess removed. Black and white marble chips are standard for all Fiat terrazzo product, in a white concrete for shower floors and a grey concrete for mop service basins.
For installation a 1/4" clearance between mop basin and wall is needed
