Sleek, ultra modern with an industrial feel, the Craftsmade Silo 56” five blade ceiling fan comes complete with a 3 speed reversible motor, remote control and an integrated light system. The fan comes with a 2” inch Downrod and 6” Downrod for installation.
The fan blades, which are perfectly balanced and weight matched, come in either teak or brushed aluminum to ensure a seamless match to your decor and are included in the price.
The Craftsmade Silo fan comes with a lifetime limited warranty.

no dimmer
This is a beautiful fan and it moves a lot of air, but there is no dimming capability on the light kit as was stated in the product description and on the instructions for the remote control (it says to hold down the L2 button to dim the light, but the light kit requires a compact fluorescent bulb and those do not dim). So if you want a light that dims, don't buy this fan. Otherwise, it's a great fan.

Great Looking Fan
This is a great looking fan, constructed of what looks like machined aluminum parts. Quality seems generally good, but operation is slightly questionable. There is only one set of power wires, so you can't control the fan with a separate on/off switch. The L1 button on the remote serves NO purpose with this fan, but the L2 button turns the light on and off. Obviously this isn't a good setup. The CFL bulb this fan comes with is a strange socket, and is pretty yellow.
Blows a LOT of air around.........it's windy in my living room with this thing on high ;)

sleek-a-licious
Very sleek looking fan. Pulls a room together with a modern style. The fan is quiet when it runs and the light is moderate which is fine with us since we are not using it as a primary source light.
If you are looking to have a contemporary look to your room and need to install a fan to keep cooling costs down then this fan is a good choice. It will do the job without altering the modern look of your room.

Craftmade warrants against defects in materials or workmanship for a minimum of TWO (2) YEARS from date of purchase for use, and agrees to repair or, at our option, replace a defective unit without charge.
IMPORTANT: This Warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care (as listed on the instructions), the affixing of any attachment not provided with the product, alteration of any attachments factory installed, loss of parts or subjecting the fixture to any but the specified electrical service.
This warranty does not cover failure of bulbs due to accidents, abuse, misuse, vandalism, power surges, and acts of nature such as lightning damage or any bulbs purchased separately and installed by the consumer or any damage to the fixture caused by a separately purchased bulb.
No responsibility is assumed for any special incidental or consequential damages. Damages occurring during transit are not covered by this warranty.
To obtain warranty service, mail sales receipt as proof of purchase-date, and a brief explanation of the nature of the defect, to P.O. Box 1037, Coppell, TX 75019. You will receive, by mail, a Return Goods Authorization number issued by Craftmade, and returned freight prepaid.
