What I was looking for!
I looked at ALL the big name stores that carry toilet seats and was told by several condecending salesmen that what I wanted did not even exist. One fellow went as far as to tell me, "Smart shoppers want what THEY carried and ONLY what they carried." This statement was made despite the fact that the very same item was listed on their website as being 'available online and in store'. I don't know if I could have made the purchase thru their website or not. I didn't even try. I did find this website with a HUGH selection of EVERYTHING including THE toilet seat. It was competatively priced so, even with shipping, it didn't cost but a few more dollars than the 'in store' price. And the seat is as advertised. It's a breeze to install; both the seat and lid close without a sound. I plan on buying 2 more just like them - from this site. You need kitchen or bathroom fixtures? This is the place to shop. Forget those 'other guys'. I know I have.
