    A. This item is only designed to be mounted on the ceiling and not a vertical application on a wall.

  • I'm a homeowner purchasing this for electrician, is a wall switch included (i.e. is there anything supplemental to purchase for installation?)

    A. The Broan QTXE110S comes with the fan and grille only. The Broan SSQTXE110 is a complete kit.

Broan QTXE110S Exhaust Fan Bathroom We purchased this for our bathroom remodel which was completed about 2 months ago. We love that it comes on automatically and is very quiet. At first the electricians didn't hook it up correctly and it didn't appear to work very well. Once they got it adjusted correctly it has worked like a charm. I would definitely recommend it. A Solid & Quality Product I looked at just about every bathroom fan available, this one had the best overall specs for cfm & sones as well as the humidity sensing/timing features I wanted. Apart from an outdated wiring diagram (why?), it's straightforward to install and has many options for different types of mounting, looks good, sounds very quiet, although "silent" it isn't, "quietest" it probably is ! Worth the price if you want a quality product with premium performance. October 22, 2010
Cadillac of bath fans This is well worth the money -- especially if you are concerned about eliminating moisture in your bathroom. This fan "knows" when to turn on and off and it really moves the air very quickly and very quietly. October 24, 2007

One Year Limited Warranty

Broan-NuTone warrants to the original consumer purchaser of its products that such products will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

During this one-year period, Broan-NuTone will, at its option, repair or replace, without charge, any product or part which is found to be defective under normal use and service.THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO FLUORESCENT LAMP STARTERS AND TUBES. This warranty does not cover (a) normal maintenance and service or (b) any products or parts which have been subject to misuse, negligence, accident, improper maintenance or repair (other than by Broan-NuTone), faulty installation or installation contrary to recommended installation instructions.

The duration of an implied warranty is limited to the one-year period as specified for the express warranty. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

BROAN-NUTONE'S OBLIGATION TO REPAIR OR REPLACE, AT BROAN-NUTONE'S OPTION, SHALL BE THE PURCHASER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
