Is this faucet suitable for reverse osmosis water filters and what does air gap base mean ? I am repalcing a reverse osmossis faucet with a new one to match my new oli rubbed bronze kitchen faucet and this is the only thing I can find that matches, will this work with an existing water filter system?
A. No the 105b is not really suited for a reverse osmosis system. I would more recommend model 106c, 107c or 107xc. With Brasstech/Newport Brass, for these to function as reverse osmosis you must order the air gap model 6-028. The 105b would work with a filter system that is not reverse osmosis.

A. Thank you for your question. The closest match would be Satin Bronze, however no two brands' finishes are going to be the same and there is not garuntee that they will match. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

The details say this requires a 1/2"-1 1/2" hole. Does this mean that a 1/2" hole in the sink will suffice or does it mean that we might need a hole as big as 1 1/2"? (

Good purchase, with one issue
Nice product. Worked as expected with one issue. When depressing the arm and releasing, the arm is spring loaded and will automatically move back to the closed position. However, on a few occasions, the arm doesn't completely shut off the water. I sometimes have to manully move the arm to the closed position in order to shut the water off. The problem doesn't happen often enough so it doesn't really bother me.

Stainless Steel (20) PVD
All 10 of our Powder Coated Paint finishes - White, Almond, Bone, Black, Red, Flat Black, European White, Biscuit, Simulated Wrought Iron and Hammered Antique Copper.
The following uncoated finishes carry no warranty:
Polished Brass Uncoated (03N)
Weathered Brass (03W)
Weathered Copper (08W)
Kitchen, bath, or lavatory drains of all types, due to abuse to which they may be subjected, are warrantied as follows:
Powder coated colors, Polished Chrome (26), Satin Chrome (26D), Oil Rubbed Bronze (10B), Forever Brass (01), Satin Brass (04), or Stainless Steel (20) have a one year warranty.
In all other finishes - no warranty on the finish for these products.
Product problems attributable to abuse, misuse, improper installation, hard water, maintainence or accidental damage are not covered by this warranty. No repairs or replacements will be made under such circumstances except at customer's expense. Liability under all warranties or implied is limited to replacement of defective goods only.
